The park is like a safe place. Almost everyone who works in this company goes to the park at least once a day. That is where we go to find peace when we can’t handle the pressure we get here at work. If we came together as the family, we are here at the company and plan on the days we do the volunteering, especially after work, or on weekends we would make a tremendous impact on the community. It would any take a maximum of four hours each month to do through cleaning with the full attendance of 800 employees in this building. With proper allocation of duties, we can come up with such a fantastic team that would make the cleaning a productive event as well as enjoyable.
Some of the activities needed for cleaning of the park include slashing the grass, pruning trees, planting new trees, cleaning the pavements and collection of litter. These are activities that we do daily in our back yards. Would it be so difficult to put such skills into use for the good of our community? I guess everyone’s answer would be no, because you all know that this park, like a second home for all of us. Most of us grew in this city, and if not, the rest discovered themselves in this city and currently live here. That means that we are all responsible for the littering in one way or the other, and cleaning is also our responsibility.

Most of the cases that are in the pediatric ward are stomach related issues. Those issues are said to have escalated since the neglect of the cleaning of the park. Our children are getting sick of the dirt that we are creating ourselves. You could bring joy to the faces a hundred of children that go to the park to play. You could save a child’s life, doesn’t that give you some push to participate in this? These prove that we have no excuses not to participate in this.

This way, we can have people from every part of the city to participate. We will ensure that everyone in the community is involved in this activity, and no one is left out we could also use our social media accounts to put up posters inviting everyone who can come to the activity to participate. With input from all over the town, the cleaning would take even lesser time, and we can all go back to our house with peace of mind and satisfied that we took up our responsibility as expected of us.
Some of us are asking themselves why to go through all that trouble when there are town authorities that are supposed to take care of the work. Well, the answer is that we have been doing that for the past weeks, and no one has made an effort so far. We are the ones who use the park; we are the people who will go there for recreation.
